Kaidy Lewis
Painting to me is like breathing, it feels comfortable and free. It is a portal to express my inner and outer worlds, release, laugh and focus. The end product is a “one off” expressive visual concoction of an improbable story. Or is it? My paintings are books. I want the viewer to have their own conversation with it. I know it will be different than mine. The idea that the shapes, color and patterns might ignite a response in another is a truly satisfying experience for me.
